@jamesy: Hi Deb, you are exactly right. This field was ready for harvest. We saw in many villages they had already begun harvest as they had left the rice husks lying out on the asphalt roads to dry in the sun (cars just drive around it!). Once its dry the husks come off easier and they can gather the rice inside.
