Wuyishan, ChinaPosted by kylie (Shanghai, China) on 2 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Located in the northeast of Fujian province, Wuyishan contains some of the most impressive scenery in southern China. It consists of two principal parts: the Jiuqu River, and the Thirty-Six Peaks, which rise up from the river. Besides its lush green scenery, Wuyishan is also the centre of production for some of China's most interesting teas, also known as Rock tea.
