Nature Loves Me

China has a lot of cicadas and it seems they are always either falling out of trees onto me, or flying into my head as I cycle along (rather painful by the way, these are solid insects!). This friendly chap chose to land on my tshirt and stare happily up at me with those big bug eyes. Luckily a local guy saw me turn pale and start flapping me arms around (very ineffectively) and came over and removed him. Eventually. Turns out cicadas are really stubborn, especially when they dont want to let go!
