It is very common in China (especially for the elderly) to get together each day at the local park. Some people do ballroom dancing, others bring a microphone and amplifier and treat the crowds to opera and songs from long ago. Musicians gather with their instruments to play together, while others practice Tai Chi, or sword and fan dancing. A little old man was eager to point his wife out to me - she comes to the park each day to juggle and she was very happy to give me a demonstration. So sweet!
